Tamarack Cellars Sagemoor Vineyard Reserve 2006

Columbia Valley, Washington, United StatesThe '06 Sagemoor Reserve (a wonderful growing season) is a mix of Bacchus Vineyard cabernet sauvignon (25 per cent) and 25 per cent each of cabernet sauvignon, merlot and cabernet franc from Weinbau Vineyard. Rich savoury, spicy nose that spills on to the palate. The wine is aged in 63 per cent new French oak. Look for soft, round, creamy textures with black cherry spice and more spice in the finish. Just beginning to show its stuff but should be in fine shape through 2016.Tasted: 26 December 2012Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
