Maremma, Tuscany, ItalyAntinori has got something going on in Maremma with this 60/40 blend of cabernet sauvignon/cabernet franc. The Fattoria Le Mortelle is located in the heart of the lower Maremma, approximately 9 km from the town of Castiglione della Pescaia. The nose is fresh and fragrant with red fruits and cedar with a dusting of vanilla. The attack is soft and round displaying rich but fine grained tannin. A delicious elegant red that over delivers for the price. Try this with whole roasted chicken.
