Vin de Pays d'Oc, Languedoc, Sud de France, FranceYou can't help but root for this $9 US red from the south of France. The 60/35/5/ GSM blend (grenache-syrah-mourvèdre) is amazingly smooth and composed with bits of red fruit and liquorice on the nose and palate and a warm, spicy, smooth finish. All you could ask for and more in a $9 red. The grapes are selected from sites at Carcassonne and in the Minervois.
