Russian River, Sonoma County, California, United StatesThe Russian River Valley pinot is a mix of eleven vineyards in 2010. The nose is a fresh rooty spicy affair with bright, sweet red fruit aromas raspberry and black cherries flecked with dried herbs. The palate is smooth and rich with cola, mocha cherry flavours. The finish is long, warm and smooth reflecting a fair bit of alcohol all with a rich pinot fruit character.
