Kosta Browne One Sixteen Chardonnay 2010
Russian River, Sonoma County, California, United StatesOne Sixteen Chardonnay (Gravenstein Highway 116) is a mix of three Russian River Valley vineyards that bask in warm days and cool nights. The style is rich and while modern definitely on the ripe powerful side. The aromatic nose is offers bright lemon-lime notes along with baked apples flecked with orange peel. Flavours are similar with vanilla and crème brûlée highlights. Could be skinnier to really show off the terroir but this a style that is well appreciated in North America.
