Castello di Gabbiano Solatio 2010

Tuscany, ItalySpicy, black cherry, plum, meaty, smoky, savoury nose flecked with cassis, black olive, tobacco and liquorice aromas. Fresh, elegant but dry palate. The flavours are a mix of plum, cherry, spicy, dried thyme, cedar, tobacco, cassis and light coffee flavours. A bit young and astringent but with a solid core of fruit and some complexity. Needs a year or so to round out in bottle or try now with beef.Tasted: 14 December 2012Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
