Yalumba Y Series Viognier 2011
South Australia, AustraliaA cool season after years of drought yielded some fresher versions if SA whites if you managed the humidity. Limey lifted aromatics with bits of nectarine skin and ginger mark the nose. The plate is skinny and fresh with spicy mango honey notes. Fermented with indigenous yeast, in stainless steel its creamy textures yield flavours of citrus, apricot, honey and baked quince. A lovely cool sweet version. Try this with a spicy pork tenderloin dish.Tasted: 10 November 2012Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $18.00 | 750ml | specialty listing |
