Max Mann Riesling Spatlese 2009
Mosel, GermanySpatlese or late-harvest is your clue to the residual sugar in this well-made German riesling. The nose has all the hallmarks of the region with red apples and lemons mixed with chalk, wet stone and a bit of lime rind. The attack is fresh and while you can sip this well chilled it I sleekly best served with a curry dish or spicy ribs or for a full on stuffed holiday turkey.Tasted: 22 November 2012Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $16.00 | 750ml | speculative listing - International Cellars |
