Intrigue Focus Riesling 2011

Lake Country, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaRiesling has really grown up in British Columbia as evidenced by the Focus label. Intrigue makes its best bottles under the Focus label and this super crisp lean fresh style riesling is a good attempt. The wine is fermented slowly and subjected to a lot of lees stirring. Its 14.5 grams of residual sugar are easily balanced by its 10.5 grams per litre of acidity with just a bit of dryness in the finish to detract. Think spicy Pan Asian food here and enjoy the match.Tasted: 22 November 2012Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
