Henri Bourgeois La Cote des Monts Damnés Sancerre 2010
Loire, FranceOpen spicy, passion fruit, gooseberry, melon, green apple, smoky, wet wool and slate aromas. Ripe, round, juicy, creamy but slightly austere palate with good concentration and acidity balance. Green herb, passion fruit, lemon, grassy, gooseberry, nettle, granny smith apple and spice flavours. This can be drunk with sole or halibut but is equally excellent with sushi and sahsimi. It should also benefit from a few years in bottle with its acidity structure. Good finesse here.Tasted: 02 November 2012Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:BC | $37.00 | 750ml | specialty listing |
