Montforte d'Alba, Cuneo, Piedmont, ItalyBlack cherry jam, liquorice, coffee, vanilla, prune, floral, barnyard, tobacco and light tar aromas. Rich, ripe, round, full but somewhat tannic palate with black cherry, plum, vanilla, tarry, coffee, gamey, cigar flavours. Very good concentration, a big wine but balanced with ripe tannins. Drink now but should improve over the next few years.
