Concha y Toro Trio Reserva Merlot Carmenere Cabernet Sauvignon 2010
Valle del Rapel, Region del Valle Central, ChileEarthy, cassis, minty, smoky, resin, briar, tobacco aromas with a volatile note. Round, full but very tart palate with minty, rooty, peppery, stemmy, olive, briar and cassis flavours. Very unbalanced with an acidic yet slightly sweet finish and some green tannins. Disappointing this year. The blend is 70/15/15merlot carmenere and cabernet sauvignon.Tasted: 19 November 2012Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $15.00 | 750ml | specialty listing |
