Chateau Montus 2006

Madiran, Sud-Ouest, FrancePeppery, floral, cassis, black cherry nose flecked with gamey, chocolate, liquorice, orange peel and barnyard aromas but quite pure. Ripe, round, smooth, dry, suave palate but fresh with chocolate, roast meat, peppery, prune, black cherry, leather, liquorice root and smoky, cassis flavours. A touch rustic but with fine intensity and balance with some purity. Ready now. A style that will appeal to those seeking something a bit off the beaten track but enjoyable.Tasted: 03 November 2012Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
