Borgogno Barolo 2007
Cuneo, Piedmont, ItalySpicy, smoky, floral, resin, tar, strawberry jam, plum, blood orange, tobacco, game and herb aromas. Ripe, round, elegant, juicy and supple but good concentration with ripe tannins. Tar, spicy, floral, strawberry jam, thyme, pepper, liquorice, earth, tobacco and resin flavours. Good finesse and length with ripeness and fruit. Mid-term aging potential 5-10 years. Can't wait to see the riserva and single vineyards from this vintage. Fine potential.Tasted: 28 November 2012Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $75.00 | 750ml | speculative - Liquid Art |
