Ruby Blues Cabernet Sauvignon 2009
Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFragrant, spicy, black olive, cigar, leather aromas with a touch of smoked meat and cassis. The attack is dry and fresh with good acidity and elegance. The palate is a mix of cassis, savoury, herbal, cassis and prune flavours with an earthy, leather undercurrent. Good finesse if a bit herbaceous and lean on the finish. Needs a year or so to settle down. Best now with a fine piece of cheese.Tasted: 10 October 2012Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $30.00 | 750ml |
