Rich, round, full, smooth, suave palate with juicy acidity. Black cherry kirsch, plum, smoky herb, meaty, peppery, savoury, tobacco, liquorice root, carrot top, blood orange flavours. A bit warm on the finish but with fine good fruit. Cassoulet, stews and or root vegetable pie would be a fine match.
