Mistaken Identity Pinot Rosé 2011

Salt Spring Island, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, CanadaA touch reduced upon opening so make sure you give it some air. The attack is similar to last year: tart and dry. Definitely a lively version of pinot noir with those strawberry/cranberry and a citrus flavours with some earthy undertones in the back end. Not quite as clean as last year but the style is totally worth pursuing. Try with charcuterie, pasta and holiday turkey.Tasted: 05 October 2012Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
