Laughing Stock Vineyards Pinot Gris +20/10 2011

Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaA 53/39/8 percent mix of French oak, stainless steel and concrete eggs fermented wine aged sur lie for five months. The wine is super fresh and bright with a strong citrus core mixed with tangerine and lime zest. Just a bit too skinny and cool in 2011 to be recognisable as pinot gris but we like the style nevertheless and suggest with oysters it would be perfect.Tasted: 22 October 2012Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
