La Miranda de Secastilla Garnache 2008

Somontano, Aragon, SpainThe name 'Secastilla' derives from the Latin for the seven castles land in the first Century. The blend is a mix of grenache, syrah and parraleta grapes. Look for an intense peppery, earthy, liquorice, black cherry nose that previews a smooth, fresh, easy sipping red flavoured with spicy, soya, balsamic notes with smoked meat, black cherry and liquorice and a touch of oak. Try this with roast pork or a Cornish game hen.Tasted: 10 October 2012Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
