JoieFarm Reserve Gewurztraminer 2010

Okanagan Falls, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis is the first standalone gewürztraminer bottled at Joie that is made in the Alsace style and off-dry. You can expect that oily Alsace palate with sweet orange and litchi fruit, bits of rosé petals and some strong underlying spice. The mid-palate is a touch hollow and the finish a bit warm, sweet and short. A good start but there is work to be done here. Use the sugar to cool down spicy Indian or Thai dishes.Tasted: 02 October 2012Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
