Catena Chardonnay 2010

Mendoza, ArgentinaThe amount of oak in this wine continues to decline as the flavour and vitality continues to soar. Only 30 per cent new French oak is used and the time in wood is down to 9 months. The fruit is a mix of Adrianna Vineyard (floral/mineral), Domingo Vineyard (dried fruits and acidity) and La Piramide ( honey, tropical fruits and a touch of oil)/ The palate is super fresh with crisp acidity and lean pear, citrus fruit flavours - a very new style of high-altitude, cool climate chardonnay.
