Wolf Blass Grey Label Shiraz Cabernet Robe Mount Benson 2009

South Australia, AustraliaBig black pepper, liquorice, earthy, smoky, espresso, blackberry jam, mint, tobacco, bay aromas with a touch of blueberry. Ripe, round, smooth, fresh palate with slightly tart acidity. Juicy black cherry, blueberry, coffee, peppery, floral, meaty, liquorice, smoky, vanilla, dried sage flavours. The finish is tart and warm with some light, astringent tannins and a shallow mid-palate. Needs food to round things out.Tasted: 28 September 2012Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
