Domaine Bouchard Père & Fils Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru 2009
Aloxe-Corton, Côte de Beaune, Côte d'Or, Burgundy, FranceRich honey, buttery, nutty, baked green apple, vanilla, citrus and pear skin aromas. Dry, fresh, juicy, concentrated but tight and somewhat austere structure. Green apple, nutty lees, spicy, citrus, green pea, lemon, vanilla, green apple and butter flavours. Very young with good intensity and concentration, this is a wine for aging. Needs three to five or more years ageing yet. Like the 2008, this is one to buy and hold.Tasted: 23 September 2012Tasted by: Stuart TobePrices:BC | $166.00 | 750ml | specialty listing |
