Bouchard Père & Fils Chapelle-Chambertin Grand Cru 2009
Gevrey-Chambertin, Côtes de Nuits, Côte d'Or, Burgundy, FranceLightly smoky, vanilla, cherry, strawberry jam, gamey, tobacco, earthy, floral, spicy aromas but a bit closed. Dry, fresh, juicy, elegant, intense and bright on the palate with some light, ripe tannins and good concentration. Vanilla, smoky, slightly meaty, gamey, blood orange, raspberry, strawberry jam, celery salt and tobacco flavours. Long, fresh, elegant style that needs 3-7 years. Will improve to the upside on the score. A relative value in Grand Cru status.Tasted: 23 September 2012Tasted by: Stuart TobePrices:BC | $198.00 | 750ml | special order - Grady Wine Marketing |
