Osoyoos, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaAll the merlot fruit comes off the Osoyoos East Bench perhaps the warmest piece of dirt in Canada. Expect a rich herbal northwest merlot with a dollop of sweet American oak. The nose is dark plum with pepper and five-spice and it carries through on the palate. The attack is glossy and supple with good acidity more cedar, kirsch, black olive, savoury flavours. A super effort that will improve in bottle.
