Mendoza, ArgentinaVeramonte winemaker Cristian Aliaga working with Alvaro Espinoza on the Primus wines has come up with a gem of a malbec from across the Andes. Primus malbec is a dark brooding intensely floral red wine with a big white pepper and intense pure raspberry fruit nose and flavours. So floral, so intense and so primary you would think there was some grenache in the 82/108 mix of malbec, syrah and petit verdot.
