Banyuls, Côte Vermeille, Roussillon, Sud de France, FranceBlack cherry, black raspberry jam, liquorice, savoury, gamey, white pepper aromas with a bit of tobacco and coffee. Sweet, concentrated, slightly tannic palate with good acidity balance. Raisin-y, black raspberry jam, orange compote, floral, white pepper and red liquorice flavours. Fairly alcoholic but with fine fruit intensity for a dessert wine. The blend is 90 grenache fortified to 16 per cent alcohol.
