Trapiche Iscay Syrah Viognier 2010

Mendoza, ArgentinaA three percent viognier co-ferment adds a big floral, ginger, orange peel component to its peppery, liquorice root, boysenberry, plum, meaty, chocolate nose. It is full, round, juicy and warm on the palate but with soft, elegant tannins. The palate is awash in coffee, ginger, boysenberry, floral, meaty, leather, chocolate flavours. The finish is youthful and a bit of warm but still with some finesse. Cellar for two to four more years Keep for 2-4 years.Tasted: 30 June 2012Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
