Taittinger Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blancs 2000

Champagne, FrancePale yellow with fine, continuous bead. Bright fresh floral, nutty, toasted nose with baked green apple, citrus, light honey. The attack is juicy and crisp with some a hint of sweetness (ripe fruit) but good balance and fine mousse. The flavours are intense reminiscent of baked green apple, butter, toasted nuts, honey, peach pit and citrus flavours. Long and flavourful, quite concentrated and ripe but all with elegance and lightness. A bit riper than last vintage but intense with fine acidity.
