O. Fournier Urban Cabernet Sauvignon 2010
Valle de Leyda, Valle de San Antonio, Region de Aconcagua, ChileThe 2010 edition is slightly more rugged than its 09 predecessor. The value is still there and the rich black fruit is as big as ever but the textures are a little more rustic and the tannins slightly tougher. It needs another year or two to settle down or serve it now with grilled beef dishes. It is made with 100-plus years old cabernet vines and spends about three months in older French oak. Both unfined and unfiltered.Tasted: 02 April 2012Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:US | $12.00 | 750ml | srp |
