JoieFarm Rosé Re-Think Pink 2011

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe latest rosé from Joie has a candied red pink colour that often signals a slightly richer version of this gulp-able summer wine style. The base is gamay, no doubt where the colour comes from with additions of pinot noir, pinot meunier and pinot gris in 2011. The nose is mix of burnt caramel, dried herbs, rhubarb and cranberries; the palate is fresh and clean with intense citrus and savoury red fruits. Almost too big to sip solo we suggest cold chicken and potato salad to maximise your enjoyment.Tasted: 14 April 2012Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
