Ritual Pinot Noir 2009

Valle de Casablanca, Region de Aconcagua, ChileA blend of two clones, 115 and 777 with 40% new French oak aging. Spicy, cedar, celery salt, rooty, tobacco leaf, saddle leather, light barnyard, balsamic, gamey, plum jam, menthol and strawberry jam aromas. Fresh, dry, juicy, slightly tart but elegant palate. Smoky, spicy, vanilla, rhubarb, waxy, coffee, celery salt, carrot top, black cherry, compost and root flavours. Solid with good finesse but lacks extract and showing a fair bit of oak.Tasted: 05 March 2012Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
