Ernest Preiss Riesling 2009
Alsace, FranceSpicy, earthy, lemon oil, green apple, light petrol, pear and slate aromas. Dry, fresh, crisp, full but elegant with light petrol, green apple, pear, waxy, citrus and quince flavours. Good intensity and balance with nice acidity and showing a bit of butter and citrus rind in a more full but austere style. Try with sole and lemon or scallops. Good value for Alsace.Tasted: 27 March 2012Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $20.00 | 750ml | specialty listing |
