Saint Joseph, Northern Rhone, Rhone Valley, FranceVery dark cherry colour. Big savoury, garrigue, vanilla, peppery, meaty, licorice root, black cherry, earthy, floral nose. Ripe, rich, juicy, full palate with some grainy tannin. Plum, peppery, blackberry, minty, floral, liquorice, smoky herbs, leather and vanilla flavours with a gamey note. A bit warm but fine fruit and acidity to age 3-5 years.
