Pascual Toso Finca Pedregal Malbec Cabernet Sauvignon Single Vineyard 2006
Maipú, Northern Region, Mendoza, ArgentinaAn 80/20 mix of malbec and cabernet sauvignon with a smoky, savoury, meaty, black cherry jam nose with bits of orange peel, barnyard, vanilla and earth aromas. Full and round the attack is juicy with excellent acidity and youthful tannins. Love the pure black berry, black cherry jam fruit with chocolate, vanilla and meaty/poultry spice flavours. Very good fruit and concentration with sweet, suave finish. This will improve in bottle through 2015.
