Montesco Passionate Wines Bonarda 2010

Tupungato, Valle de Uco, Tunuyán, Central Region, Mendoza, ArgentinaLiquorice root, peppery, gamey, black plum, earthy aromas, slightly reduce. Full, round, warm, fresh palate with some light, tight tannin. Sloe plum, black cherry, licorice, peppery, dried herb, wild game flavours. Big, intense but somewhat tannic, needs a few years, lacks some of the fresh fruit as it is a bit over ripe but also dry tannins. A rustic style.Tasted: 15 February 2012Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
