Branciforti Feudi Bordonaro Nero d'Avola 2010

Sicily, ItalyBlack cherry jam, plum, floral, liquorice, meaty, spicy aromas with a touch of tobacco ash. Fresh, light, elegant style with very light tannins. Cherry, plum, peppery, tobacco, liquorice, mineral, earthy flavours. There is plenty of fruit and juiciness but a bit tart on the finish. Good with pasta with tomato sauces or lamb stew. Good value.Tasted: 23 February 2012Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
