Brancaia Ilatraia Maremma 2009
Maremma, Tuscany, ItalyIlatraia, Brancaia's Maremma project has tweaked the grape mix since the first release in 2002. The '09 is a clever mix of 60/20/20 cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc and petit verdot. The style is sophisticated with ripe blueberry fruits flecked with leather and smoky coffee bits. Dense round lush and while young you can drink it now. Expect this to improve for at least five or six years in bottle.
