Tuscany, ItalyThe top wine at Brancaia is Il Blu a 50/45/5 super Tuscan mix of sangiovese merlot and cabernet sauvignon from Radda and Castellina only. Wow! It's the supple tannin that entices here. So soft and slippery but with delicious savoury, smoky black cherry fruit flavours. The wine doesn't lack power but elegance is its real hallmark and that is just fine with us.
