Rocky Creek Pinot Noir 2009

Cowichan Valley, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, CanadaCompost, stewed rhubarb, tobacco leaf, meaty, resiny, smoky, black tea aromas. Dry, lean, round but tart palate with some green, hard tannin. Peppery, compost, sausage meat, lees, rhubarb, sour raspberry flavours. This needs some work.Tasted: 21 December 2011Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices: BC 20.00 winery direct Producer: Rocky Creek WineryDistributors: Winery Direct
