Beaune, Côte de Beaune, Côte d'Or, Burgundy, FranceProbably the most consistent quality Beaune premier cru we see, this has spicy, cherry, strawberry, compost, liquorice aromas with smoky, meaty, floral notes. Dry, round, full and supple with good acidity and concentration with some light tannin. Black cherry, gamey, peppery, tobacco, spicy, cedar, worsteshire flavours with a juicy, fruity finish.
