William Fèvre Fourchaume 1er Cru Chablis Vignoble de Vaulorent Domaine 2008
Chablis, Burgundy, FranceA sub-parcel of Fourchaume next to the Grand Cru Les Preuses. Floral, lemon, spicy, perfumed, green apple, pear, mineral aromas. A very fine nose. Ripe, rich, creamy, full and juicy palate with elegance. Green apple, spicy, floral, anise, seaweed, lime mix with waxy, orange flavours. Long and juicy and very fine. This will age with great finesse. A stunner for a 1er Cru although the higher price reflects the quality.Tasted: 13 November 2011Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $62.00 | 750ml | specialty listing |
