Van Westen Vineyards Vice 2010
Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaA first in viognier ice wine, at least for us. Big candied, ginger, orange peel, floral nose with spicy, minty, honey aromas and a touch of raisin. Fresh, juicy, sweet palate but balanced with creamy acidity. Honey, ginger, lychee, orange peel, dried apricot, minty, floral flavours. Intense, juicy, long palate. Fine effort here and fairly priced.Tasted: 06 November 2011Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $25.00 | 200ml | winery direct and private wine shops |
