Bouchard Père & Fils Chambolle Musigny 2008

Côtes de Nuits, Côte d'Or, Burgundy, FranceAlthough not directly available, this offers a bit more fruit and finesses than the Gevrey offering, made from estate and purchased fruit. Spicy, floral, meaty, cherry, tobacco, incense, licorice and compost aromas. Ripe, round, supple and elegant with finesse and juicy acidity. Cherry, raspberry, smoky, gamey, floral, and orange and cedar flavours. Good expression of fruit and structure. Needs 3-7 years but worth trying.Tasted: 23 November 2011Tasted by: Stuart TobePrices:
