Pfalz, GermanyThe Villa Wolf is made in a dry style by Mosel guru Ernie Loosen. There is no botrytis as Dr L. prefers to keep the style on the pure style with a bright aroma structure and maximum alcohol of some 12.5 to 13 percent. The vines are at lower elevation and grown on more sandy soil closer to the river. The style is fresh with honey and lemon aromas over citrus and bright acidity. It finishes clean with hints of dried fruits reminiscent of mango and melon.
