Luigi Bosca Icono 2007
Mendoza, ArgentinaPlum, vanilla, chocolate, blackberry jam, floral, tobacco, cedar, five spices, Christmas pudding aromas with a bit of saddle leather. Smooth, soft, supple palate with light tannins and balanced acidity. Warm plum, black cherry, mocha, cedar, tobacco, savoury, spicy, peppery, vanilla, Christmas cake, liquorice and cassis flavours with a bit of barnyard. Although warm, this is a very balanced and refined style that has achieved good fruit intensity and concentration without over extraction. Drinkable now but should improve over the next 2-5 years.Tasted: 21 October 2011Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $124.00 | 750ml | special order - Pacific Wine and Spirits |
