The addition of some malbec and merlot has helped to round out this red in the mouth and gives it a bit more definition. Look for a delicious five spice nuance and wild black fruit on the nose and palate. There is still some gritty youthful tannin in the back end of this linear red. Love the only 25 percent new oak that helps the wine better express its mountainside fruit.
