Le Vieux Pin Petit Blanc Feenie's Blend 2010

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaI get nervous when restaurants and chefs start making wine as they should if I ever start making wine. It may be one thing to know what you want but it's a lot tougher to make it happen in the bottle. This fruit salad affair likely had noble beginnings something fresh and crisp that works with food, maybe even Alsace-like because for some reason sommeliers love Alsace wines even if consumers avid them like the plague. The Viognier and muscat make it a bit too sweet and heavy to light and refreshing and the sauvignon and chardonnay are a bit too bitter and rindy. Best with spicy food.Tasted: 16 September 2011Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
