Blasted Church Pinot Noir 2009

Okanagan Falls, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe all mid-valley, Skaha fruit comes of two blocks and is pressed and aged in French oak for nine months. At this ppoint a small portion of carbonic macerated fruit is added to the blend to reduce tannins and boost fruit. The palate is soft and spicy with dried strawberries, mushrooms and spice flavours before a short dry finish. An okay pinot that under delivers for the price.Tasted: 25 September 2011Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
