Summerhill Pyramid Winery Cabernet Sauvignon 2007
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe fluctuation in quality at Summerhill always baffles us. In this case who could have guess that a cabernet could be, well, so drinkable. Yes its cab with its herbaceous dried fruits nose and firm mid-palate but the blackcurrant fruit flavours are just plentiful enough to hold off the cedar and camphor notes to make this a tasty little red. Roasted meats are all that's required to let this shine at the dinner table.Tasted: 04 July 2011Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $27.00 | 750ml | vqa, private wine stores, winery direct |
